Your usage of islandnest.com is bound by the terms and conditions outlined when you visit the site or the store; we therefore encourage you to review these terms and conditions each time you use this site.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Island Nest accepts Visa, MasterCard, and cash, for payment at the Governors Harbour Store or we can receive local and international wire transfer. We are not able to accept Zelle, Paypal or Venmo.

 

VAT TAX:

The Bahamian government imposes a VAT tax of 10% on all purchases. Prices shown on the site and in the shop are inclusive of VAT.

 

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

 

SHIPPING WITHIN THE ISLANDS OF THE BAHAMAS OR DELIVERY ON THE ISLAND OF ELEUTHERA

We are not in a position to provide home delivery except by special request.

Orders can be held at the Shop for pickup by any party you designate.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

International Shipments are by special request only. Please contact the Shop regarding any requests for delivery of goods outside the Islands of the Bahamas.

 

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchases, but we understand that sometimes it's just not the right fit. Please note that the following items are NOT eligible for return/exchange:

  • Sheets
  • Towels
  • Bedding

 

For all other items returns can be accepted for store credit only we do not do cash refunds.

Credit is valid for one year.

 

International orders are final sale. No returns or exchanges.

 

PLEASE
NOTE: All local return inter island shipping fees are the customer's responsibility unless product is determined to be defective or damaged. If your package gets lost in transit in either direction, we will try to assist you in tracking it, but once proof of delivery is generated or if the package is not recovered, you are fully responsible.

 

Order Fulfillment for Special Orders:

 

Island Nest Ltd will process your online order within 48 hours (business days) of receiving payment given all items are in stock. We strive to keep the website's inventory updated at all times, but item availability is not guaranteed.

 

If an item is sold out, you will be notified via email or telephone.

 

Once ordered the shipping process takes a minimum of 2-4 weeks depending on the item. Sometimes it can take 12+ weeks, you will be advised of estimated lead time before processing payment.

 

Force Majeure; Sometimes the vendors advise us of delays at the factory. This is beyond our control, and we are not obligated to return cash funds to the customer is this occurs.

 

DAMAGE

Any damage to furniture or décor items received at your property must be reported to the store within 48hours. Island Nest will endeavor to have the item repaired or replaced or credit provided.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

We neither sell, nor share your information with outside companies or third parties. When you purchase from our on line store, we request your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, email address, and credit card information. We ask that you provide this information so that we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.
